Golden Blount first entered the fireplace industry early in the year of 1970 as a manufacturers representative in the southwest.

In 1980 we became a major distributor and importer of fireplace accessories manufactured in the orient.

Early 1986 Golden Blount designed a premium glass fireplace screen originally manufactured in the orient with all production moved into our factory in Addison, Texas, in 1991.

The Golden Blount line of gas logs was first introduced to the trade in April 1994 at the Nashville “Hearth Products” show. In November 1999 a patent for the “Controlled Ember Bed” burner was issued.

Production of the Golden Blount Gas Fireplaces began in 1997. Our innovative gas safety valve was patented in April 2002.

We introduced our high quality “Infrared” gas grills early in the year of 2000.

Because of the unique designs and quality of our products the success of the company has been more than outstanding. Golden Blount, Inc. Corporation is totally owned and managed by members of the Blount family.
